Operating companies present an integrated food automation portfolio at Stand 11.F080 – 11.E080
DOWNERS GROVE, Illinois — June 1, 2026 — Duravant will use VIV Europe 2026 to unveil the Foodmate APEX, a next-generation white meat deboning solution making its global debut on the show floor. Taking place 2–4 June at Royal Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, the Netherlands, the show will give attendees a first look at a fully automated, integrated, and synchronized in-line system not yet available to the market.
The APEX unveiling anchors a broader Duravant presence that brings together food automation technologies from Foodmate, Marlen, Henneken, Key Technology, Marelec, POSS and Pattyn — demonstrating how integrated automation helps processors increase yield, productivity, food safety, and connect operations.
“Processors today are under increasing pressure to do more with less while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety,” said David Wilson, Duravant Group President, Food Automation. “At VIV Europe, we are launching our latest white meat deboning solution, designed to significantly reduce labor dependency, maximize yield, and deliver consistent, high quality output. At the same time, we demonstrate how this innovation connects seamlessly with solutions from across Duravant’s operating companies, bringing processing, further processing, and packaging together into one integrated approach.”
A first look, by registration only
The APEX will be revealed in a dedicated demonstration area at the Duravant stand, with live runs throughout the show. Visitors will have the opportunity to interact directly with Duravant’s innovation and product experts and be among the very first to experience the system in operation. Demo spots are limited and available by registration only.
Established technologies on display alongside the APEX
Complementing the APEX unveiling, Duravant operating companies will highlight proven solutions that work across the processing line:
• Henneken will present its further-processing technology for meat injection, massaging, and tumbling applications.
• Marelec will demonstrate a dual-lane portion cutter delivering precise, fixed-weight portions for meat and poultry products, alongside X-ray inspection systems that enhance yield and strengthen food safety.
• Key Technology’s alignment conveyor will support efficient product handling upstream of inspection.
• POSS will present the Pro MAX 6000 separation system, which recovers more usable protein from each input stream through a precisely controlled mechanical separation process — reducing waste and giveaway while maintaining product integrity.
• Pattyn will run live demonstrations of the ZIM-31 bag inserting machine, a compact system that automates hygienic packing of poultry products into lined boxes, E2 crates and other containers.
Together, these technologies address four pressures shaping the industry today: reducing labor dependency through automation, maximizing yield through integrated solutions, meeting increasingly stringent food safety requirements, and improving connectivity for faster decision-making across the line.
