MARELEC Food Technologies, a world-leading producer of intelligent portion cutters and customized weighing and grading solutions, officially opened the doors of its new sales office in Moscow, Russia on 24 March 2021.
Having had a foothold in the Russian market with various distributors since 2010, the company recently decided the time was right to work even closer with its customers. MARELEC Food Technologies has operated very successfully in the country over the past decade and sees great future potential in its fast-developing market. The establishment of its own sales office will ensure that MARELEC Food Technologies grows even further, while guaranteeing the best possible after-sales service.
Belgium-based MARELEC Food Technologies was founded in 1983 by Mr. Piet Rommelaere who commented: “Russia has gone through a fast evolution over recent years with regard to optimizing food-processing lines for the production of high-quality food, with maximum yield and maximum return on investment. Our machinery fits perfectly with this trend. The new office, MARELEC RUS, was the logical next step for us to continue our growth in Russia.”
The MARELEC RUS office, at 4-th Lesnoy pereulok, 4, room 498, will be managed by Mrs Vera Efimova and Mrs Ekaterina Burova, who both have over 10 years’ successful experience in the sales of MARELEC fixed-weight intelligent portion cutters to the poultry, meat and fish industries. As food technologists, they are able to analyze and understand customers’ demanding applications in great detail in order to suggest the ideal type of machine. The MARELEC RUS office also has the backup of fully trained professional engineers to guarantee optimal after-sales service. The technical and commercial team at the Belgian headquarters will work in close cooperation with MARELEC RUS.
