Enhancing efficiency, maximizing yield, and meeting demands in Poland's poultry industry.
Wipasz stands out as one of MARELEC's key clients in Poland, with over 10 MARELEC grading and portioning systems installed over the past decade. This partnership underscores Wipasz's dedication to optimizing its poultry processing operations.
In response to rising broiler slaughter weights, creating higher chicken meat processing volumes, Wipasz invested in a MARELEC sorting and portioning line. This technology efficiently separates fresh chicken fillets into fixed-weight parts and strips, increasing yield and accuracy.
Once the operator selects target weights, the PORTIO 1DAP scans the product to determine its weight before it's precisely cut into fixed-weight fillets and strips. The portion cutter optimizes yield by combining multiple cutting applications into one recipe. Meanwhile, the grading solution sorts remaining products by weight, followed by the gentle retract grader, which collects similar-sized items in designated bins. The process continues as calibrated fillets are horizontally sliced and sorted by weight using the six-station MARELEC grader.
In an effort to keep pace with the increasing demand from a well-known fast food restaurant, Wipasz invested in a PORTIO 1DAP with a sorting system that has significantly increased overall yield. The MARELEC line handles up to 15-18 tonnes of chicken per day, ensuring Wipasz is ready for a competitive future.
With the MARELEC line capable of processing up to 15-18 tonnes of chicken daily, Wipasz is well-prepared for future competitiveness.
Thanks to the Marelec portioning and sorting line, we are able to effectively portion larger amounts of products in a shorter time while using fewer staff. The line allows for very quick changeover of the cutting program, which improves efficiency. The demand for properly calibrated and sorted products is very high, which is why Marelec systems are a great solution for us.
